BRIAN J. ALOIA, ESQ

Mr. Aloia is the Principal of ALOIA LAW FIRM LLC. Since 1996 Mr. Aloia has focused his practice on public sector representation, labor and employment, and criminal matters. Mr. Aloia also has experience in all aspects of corporate and real estate law, representing buyers and sellers in both commercial and residential real estate transactions, lease negotiations, land use applications, and general and specialized contract issues.

Mr. Aloia represents public and private sector employers, unions and employees in all types of employment litigation and defense. Mr. Aloia has vast experience in handling the negotiations, interpretation and other collective bargaining agreement issues; drafting and revising employee handbooks; and the investigation, prosecution and defense of allegations of employee misconduct. Mr. Aloia has drafted anti-sexual harassment and anti-discrimination policies and provides training to employees for the prevention of harassment and discrimination claims. Mr. Aloia represents employers and employees in grievance arbitrations, New Jersey Law Against Discrimination claims, Equal Employment Opportunity issues, Civil Rights matters, and all other employment related litigation, hearings and proceedings.

Mr. Aloia represents municipalities and independent agencies in all aspects of their operations. Mr. Aloia has extensive experience serving as general counsel, special counsel, and labor and employment counsel for different public entities throughout New Jersey. For over a decade Mr. Aloia has been appointed as the Township Attorney and Municipal Prosecutor for different municipalities and currently continues to serve in those capacities.

Mr. Aloia has appeared in state and federal courts, before the Office of Administrative Law and other state agencies, including the Civil Service Commission, Division on Civil Rights, Public Employment Relations Commission, Election Law Enforcement Commission, Department of Education, Division of Pensions and School Ethics Commission.

Mr. Aloia received his Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Scranton. Mr. Aloia is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the New York Bar.

OLLIE H. HAWKINS, ESQ

Mr. Hawkins specializes in Labor and Employment Law, Commercial and Business Litigation and Municipal Law. He has over 20 years of experience working with public and private entities in Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Government Law, Labor Law, Wrongful Termination, Public Policy, Employment and Anti-discrimination Law, Health and Human Services.

Mr. Hawkins serves as a Board Member of Paralegal Connect, a New Jersey network of paralegals and attorneys seeking solutions to legal and social problems.

Mr. Hawkins was previously General Counsel / Chief Attorney for the Legalistics Services Group. Among other responsibilities, he dispensed legal and ethical advice, and was responsible for compliance with industry regulations and government mandates, and protecting the company’s patents, trademarks, service marks, copyrights and other forms of intellectual property.

Mr. Hawkins served as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Union County, New Jersey Prosecutor’s Office. As part of the Juvenile Justice Unit, he was responsible for the prosecution of juveniles for acts of delinquency ranging from violations of township ordinances to first degree murder. He was also a Partner in the law firm of Weiner Lesniak LLP, where his areas of practice included Commercial Law, Business Planning, Corporate Law, Business Counseling and Regulatory Law.

Mr. Hawkins was Director of the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, Department of Law and Public Safety. He managed five offices with a staff of over 200 employees, drafting, interpreting and enforcing the employment and anti-discrimination laws of the State of New Jersey. He was also a Special Assistant in the Office of the Attorney General in Trenton, New Jersey . There, he acted as the legal liaison between the Attorney General and the Division of Gaming Enforcement, New Jersey Racing Commission and the Athletic Control Board. Mr. Hawkins was Assistant Counsel in the Office of the Counsel to the Governor, Trenton, New Jersey. He provided legal and policy staff support to the Governor in the areas of Health and Human Services. Duties also included the drafting of Executive Orders; monitoring the legislative process, including the budget; exercising direct oversight of intrastate and bi-state authorities and commissions.

Mr. Hawkins received his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall Law School. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Seton Hall University.

VICTORIA A. LUCIDO, ESQ

Ms. Lucido has been an associate of the firm since September 2015. Ms Lucido focuses her practice on civil litigation at both the State and Federal levels, representing public and private sector employers, unions and employees in all types of employment litigation and defense. Additionally, Ms. Lucido handles commercial and residential real estate transactions. Ms. Lucido also serves as an assistant Municipal Prosecutor in Rahway, New Jersey.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Lucido served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Catherine Enright in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Morris County. Ms. Lucido then transitioned to a local law firm where her practice consisted of labor and employment litigation.

Ms. Lucido received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Monmouth University. Ms. Lucido is admitted to the New Jersey and the New York bars, as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
